Setting up Claude MCP

See a video on how to connect Distill to Claude. If you're using Claude desktop, you can now connect Distill via a custom connector. Just head to Settings → Connectors, add a new one with https://distill.fyi/mcp, log in, and start a new chat to confirm you're connected. It also works with Claude Code!

NOTE: custom connectors are only available on some paid plans for Claude. See their support article here.

Setting up ChatGPT MCP

You must be on a paid plan for MCP to work. Plus and above.

Go to https://chatgpt.com/#settings/Connectors

Go down to "Advanced" and turn on "Developer Mode."

Click on "Create" app. Call it "Distill" and input the URL as https://distill.fyi/mcp

Check "I understand," and press Create.

Moving forward, you can @-mention the Distill app and ask something like show me linkedin.com/in/timothysu
