Searching within a List

You can now search within a specific List to find people or companies that match your criteria. Use either the filters or natural language to narrow down results based on job title, location, company size, and other attributes.

• To quickly find someone within a List, click on the magnifying glass and type in a name or company.

• To find people that meet your criteria, use our advanced Search feature with the magnifying “AI” glass to search for people and companies in your network and the rest of Distill.

How it works

Open a List and use the search function with the magnifying AI glass to describe what you're looking for. The search will only return results from that List, and you can make modifications to help you find the right person or company that matches.

1. On your List, click on the more options icon (☰) to search within your List. Click Create Search. Or, press the magnifier Icon.

2. Type in your inquiry using natural language or select the filters available below to set your criteria.

3. You will now see search results of people on your List matching your criteria.

4. You can adjust the filters at the top of your search result or by clicking on ‘Edit Search’ or by typing in the box by clicking on Adjust it. You can also specify and change which lists you want to search, or if you want to modify searching your contacts, your network, or the rest of Distill.
