What are Lists useful for?

The List feature lets you organize and share multiple profiles through a Distill List link.

How Lists in Distill work:

  • You can add people and companies to lists, and share them with others.
  • For example, create a list of participants for an upcoming business meeting and share it with others so that it is easier to understand who is who and connect with them
  • Add collaborators to create a list together
  • Perform advanced AI searches on your list
  • Ask assessment questions based on the list and AI to clarify details. For example, “Is this person the best candidate for this position?”

Common ways to use Distill Lists

  • Fundraising - Create a list of potential investors to track outreach and engagement, share a public link to your list to see who in your network can make introductions, and keep a curated list of your favorite investors to easily share with others.
  • Collect VCs for your Fundraise - Track a running list of VCs for your fundraise
  • Investing - Organize a list of promising startups or founders to keep an eye on, and share investment opportunities with colleagues or other investors.
  • Networking, e.g., conferences or dinners - You can also use Lists for networking events ahead of an event, amongst your team or with attendees, to get acquainted.
  • Share a list of attendees for your event - Create a public lookbook to generate excitement.
  • Sales - Build a list of prospective clients or customers to manage outreach efforts -> Add the List to your CRM to share with your team.
  • Recruiting - Maintain a list of potential candidates for open roles -> Share lists with hiring managers or recruiters to align on top prospects -> Use lists to track follow-ups and hiring stages.
