Onboarding: How to get started on Distill

Welcome to your Distill account. Below, we'll detail how you can get started using Distill. This article will walk you through all the steps to complete onboarding once you’ve signed up for Distill. Here’s what you’ll need to do in order to complete onboarding:

1. Sign up for Distill or sign in if you have an account. You’ll see our onboarding steps.

2. You will be asked to install the Chrome Extension. See: What can I do with the Distill Chrome extension? . Installing the Chrome extension will unlock LinkedIn, import your network, and verify your identity on Distill.
   • Verifying your identity will let you make changes to your own Distill profile.

3. Try Search and look up VCs, people, or founders in Distill and in your network. See: Find the right people in your network using people search

4. Learn how to create and build a List to share and collaborate with others. See: How to create and share a Distill List

5. Search for specific people or companies using Search Lookup. See: Look up specific people or companies using Search Lookup

6. Connect your Google Calendar to see upcoming meetings. See: How to connect your Google Calendar to Distill for Meetings

7. Once done, you can dismiss onboarding.
